A very warm welcome to the Edinburgh Bushido Judo Club. This website is aimed at providing all current & future members with information about the Club and who to contact for further details.

The Edinburgh Bushido Judo Club was formed in 1985 by Andy Malcolm, and is based in Polwarth, Edinburgh - just a 10 minute walk from Tynecastle Stadium or Fountainpark complex. We are a small and friendly club with members at all levels from novice to expert.  We also cater for all ages, from our juniors up.

We are keen to encourage new members to the club, and are committed to providing and supporting coaching and training facilities which allow and encourage all members to progress in the martial art of judo.

Please take time to view our website, as it will give a better idea of what we can offer to members, and give you an idea of what you can get out of participating in this ancient art.  The links below provide general information Judo, and the levels and terminology involved.  Club specific information, from a map of our location, training times, and membership costs are all covered.  If you have any other queries, please feel free to contact us.  Full details are on the Contact page, and our telephone number and an e-mail address link can be found at the top of every page.

You can also download the club's promotional video clip to see a little of what judo is all about (7MB).

We look forward to welcoming you to the Edinburgh Bushido Judo Club in the near future.
